3,634 Miles To A Cure

Ronald J. Barnes Jr.: Hello, my name is R.J., Barnes and I am a senior at Benedictine High School in Richmond, Virginia. Over the past few years, I have become an Eagle Scout and have been recently inducted into the National Honor Society. I am also involved in many clubs and organizations in my school/community. I was also fortunate to spend a school year as an exchange student in Mexico and have used my Spanish while working as an intern for Everdrive. On June 6th, 2010, I hope to embark on a journey across the United States. I will start in Charlottesville, Virginia, and will end in San Francisco, California. The trip is roughly 3,634 miles. Each mile I ride, a company or a person can donate "X" amount of dollars to The Autism Society and to sponsor my trip. I hope to raise at least $5,000 to help increase awareness, which helps to find a cure for autism. Thanks so much to all of my sponsors so far.
